What I saw and experience in this video was trust and loyalty to promise that Lincoln had made with his mother at the age of nine. The promise she made with him was to never use tobacco or drink any type of whisky. So the story goes as two men traveling together which were Abraham Lincoln and a military colonel. Then the colonel asked him to drink with him and he said no because he remembered about what his mother told him and what he promised.
