Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical perfusionists operate circulation equipment during medical situations when it is necessary to temporarily and artificially replace the patient’s circulatory or respiratory functions.  This occurs during heart surgery and similar operations.  Perfusionists also control the temperature of patients during surgery.

Salary:  $50,000

Education: A high school diploma with a strong background in biology and chemistry is required to be accepted in perfusionist training programs.  Admissions preference is given to students with college science work or experience in respiratory therapy and medical terminology. 


Reflection:I would not like to be a perfusionist because i am not interested.

Reflection: I think this means that if you persist that you will reach all your goals and dream, you will reach your goals and dreams. If you fail don’t stop trying, keep trying until you reach your goals and dreams. All you need to do is persist in other word you need persistence. No matter how many times you fail or what people say don’t give up on your dreams and goals.

Education: Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in healthcare administration or business administration. 

 

 

Reflection would like to be a patient representative because they make pretty decent money.

Duties and Responsibilities: They treat injures diseases they also practice in all branches in medicine and surgery they differ by emphasizing the importance of the musculoskeletal system in holistic medicine ,proper nutritional and environmental factors maintaining good health. They also use their hands to make medicine.

Education: All students who want to become one need to take high standards like in high school need to take AP and IB   classes. Once 4 years of college you need to attend medical school. Also you need to take one year of chemistry one year of organic chemistry, biology, and physics.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be one because there is too much to of studying and after when you’re finished you’re probably going to be old.

Education:Students should take high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry.  A high school diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin training as an optician.  There are two types of training programs. 

 

Reflection:I would not like to be an optometrist because I don’t want to be one.

Duties and Responsibilities: Prosthetists design and make replacement limbs.  Orthotists work with patients that need extra support for their muscles, spine, or limbs.  Design, make, and fit apparatuses made of plastic, wood, leather, and metal that help stabilize, strengthen or replace body parts.  

 

Salary: $25,000 - $40,000

 

Education: Students should take challenging science, math, and English courses in high school. Some colleges and universities offer bachelor degrees in orthotic and prosthetic programs.

 

 

Reflection: I would like to be an orthotist because they make pretty decent money.

Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases.  They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses.  When necessary, they perform eye surgery. 

 

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000

 

Education: Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologists.  After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program.  After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

 

Reflection: I would like to be one because they make pretty good decent money.
