Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and responsibilities: Registered Nurses (RNs) do specialized and skilled nursing.  They are responsible for supervising and planning the care of ill patients.  They oversee the care that is given by practical nurses and nurse’s aides.

Salary: $23,000 - $45,000

Education: Students should take college preparation courses in high school that emphasize the sciences. There are three ways to become a registered nurse.  First, many hospitals offer three year nursing school courses.

Reflection: I would like to become a licensed practical nurse because I’m really into that stuff and I want to be one when I become older.
